What Is Microdermabrasion?

Is a non- painful Treatment of the facial skin using abrasive, air- driven crystals to gently cleanse and remove unsightly blemishes from the skin surface. Microdermabrasion is an ideal treatment for regular skin maintenance to improve the appearance of sun damage, fine wrinkles, scars, freckles, age spots, enlarged pores, and oily and acne-prone skin, shallow to medium depth acne scars, but is not intended to treat deep facial scars. Microdermabrasion can also be used to temporarily improve the appearance of keratosis pilaris. After Just 1 treatment your skin will feel smooth & soft and your face will look fresh and clean.

How long does the treatment take & how often are Treatments Performed?

Microdermabrasion is a fast, simple procedure that can be performed in about
15-30 minutes and are done every 1-6 weeks, depending on your diagnosis/ skin type. Multiple Treatments in combination with sunscreen, sun avoidance, and other skin care yield the best results.

How long do the results last?

Most people see immediate results that last for 3-6 weeks depending on diagnosis. Scar revision is permanently successful if it clears the scars. Several treatments are typically necessary for optimum results.

Is Microdermabrasion safe for all skin types?

Yes. Microdermabrasion is a very safe procedure to immediately improve your skin’s appearance without the somewhat harsh effects of chemicals or surgery.

Contraindications:
• If you are pregnant
• Herpes Virus
• Warts
• Pustule Acne
• Recent sunburn
• No Tanning Prior to or after Treatment for 2 weeks
• Wait 3 months after finishing Accutane Prior to starting Treatments
